Factors to Consider When Choosing Slimming Teas by David K.B Brown
Slimming teas, also called diet teas or weight-loss teas, have become quite popular in recent times as a means of losing weight. Many overweight people, both men and women, have resorted to using these teas as weight-loss products.
There are many types of these weight-loss teas on the market, as supply rises to meet the increasing demand. You will find them under many names, usually with far-eastern sounding names.
If you are thinking of buying some diet teas and using them as part of a weight-loss program, then you should please take note of the following important factors. They relate to the possible negative effects, on your health, of using weight-loss teas.
The first factor to be aware of is that some slimming or diet teas can cause you to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. If you drink a lot of these teas, you might get diarrhoea. The probability that you will visit the bathroom very often, and discharge watery stools, means that you can lose weight very fast. However, that would not be a healthy way to lose weight.
The second factor to consider, if you are a woman or are married to a woman who is considering the use of slimming or weight-loss teas, is the fact that the long-term consumption of diet teas can ill-affect your/her menstrual periods and cycles.
Additionally, some slimming teas have been known to induce vomiting, nausea and stomach cramps when taken in large quantities. I am sure you would not want to be vomiting and suffering belly cramps frequently just because you want to lose weight.
Finally, please be aware that slimming teas are largely considered unsafe for pregnant women. It would be wise for any pregnant woman who is considering using weight-loss teas as part of a weight-loss program to consult an appropriate medical professional for advice and guidance.
In view of the possible ill-effects associated with the regular use of slimming teas, you might want to be cautious and consider alternative ways of losing weight.
